how to avoid Cell's Radiation
Cellphone or mobile phone has become part of today’s us. We don’t go anywhere without it, in fact we are wondering around the house carrying it. It’s so important that we are missing something when not having this cute friend.
Now, have you heard of the latest phobia caused by cellphone? They call it Nomophobiacs a condition that makes people unease and uncomfortable when the cell is not around. It’s a new found phobia, along with the rise of smartphone. Interesting but it’s not what concerns the experts.
The rumor about handphone causes cancer is seemed to be more than just fairy tales. Cellphone emits radiation in the form of electromagnetic that we don’t want to take lightly. It’s the pulse that controls the signal strength and clarity of voice. It turns out the body may absorb the radiation and it’s measureable by the experts is SAR or Specific Absorption Rate.
There are two effect caused by cell’s radiation
Thermal Effect
It’s the most commonly found effect, caused by gadget with electromagnetic pulse. Typically it’s triggered by the increasing temperature. In general brain and blood circulation can deal with this thermal effect, however some part of our body can’t stand the heat such as eye cornea.
Non Thermal Effect
Another effect is called non thermal effect. It doesn’t have much to do with the heat, commonly affect brain or any internal organ nearest to the antenna. This effect increases the metabolism of glucose in blood.
According to American Medical Association, in Indiatimes, in the long term this
non thermal effect can cause:
Brain damage
Cancer
Headache and dizzy
Insomnia
Changes in personality
In order to minimize the risk of cell’s radiation, some experts advise us to:
• Make range to the cell, don’t put it in direct contact with the skin
• Don’t use cellphone when or where the signal is bad. If the reception is low the cell will release high rate electromagnetic pulse to compensate.
• Use hands-free or headset in talking mode.
• When headset is not available, switch between both ears when talking.
• Put the cell away from body when waiting for call, only put it on your ear when it’s connected.
